The challenge

2021 Adspace winners from the Music Industry College
QUT School of Advertising, Marketing and Public Relations with support from The Communications Council and Design Minds are offering high school students, from Years 10 to 12, a unique opportunity to work as an advertising team and create a campaign for a real-life client.
AdSpace High School Advertising Challenge is a day of fun and experiential learning for high school students, their teachers and QUT student mentors. Each year high schools from south east Queensland send teams to QUT to experience the excitement of spending a day at QUT’s Gardens Point Campus and participate in a real world advertising adventure.
During the challenge, teams are briefed by a real client and then work with QUT advertising student mentors to develop a campaign and pitch their ideas. The judging panel of advertising industry specialists provide feedback to the teams and decide the winning pitch.
